Our PI Hans Burchard published a new paper in the "Journal of Physical Oceanography" titled: "A universal law of estuarine mixing".
Our newsletter comes out every three months and includes information about the work done in our project and more.
Our PI Valerio Lucarini contributed to a new paper in the "Journal of Climate" titled: "The forced response of the El Niño–Southern Oscillation-Indian monsoon teleconnection in ensembles of Earth System Models".
Our Postdocs Stephan Juricke, Nikolay Koldunov as well as our M3 PIs Sergey Danilov and Marcel Oliver published a new paper in the "Journal of Advances in Modeling Earth Systems" titled: "Ocean kinetic energy backscatter parametrization on unstructured grids: Impact on global eddy‐permitting simulations".
In November 2019, the TRR 181 and the Cluster of Excellence CLICCS were proud to host Prof. Londa Schiebinger (Stanford University), the leading expert on gender and science, in Hamburg. One of the first results: No, we do not have a gender dimension in research, but does that mean we cannot think about it?
