Our newsletter comes out every three months and includes information about the work done in our project and more.
Our Postdoc Stephan Juricke from Jacobs University attended as our Outreach delegate the Science Fair at Maritime Festival Week in Bremen. The Maritime Festival Week presented on the Weser promenade on September 21 and 22 large parts of the research landscape of Bremen and Bremerhaven.
Our Postdoc Nikolay Koldunov and our PIs Thomas JUng and Sergey Danilov contributed to a new paper in the "Geophysical Research Letters" titled: "Ocean heat transport into the Barents Sea: Distinct controls on the upward trend and interannual variability".
Our Postdoc Nikolay Koldunov published a new paper with our PI Thomas Jung and Postdoc Patrick Scholz in the Journal "Geoscientific Model Development" titled: "Scalability and some optimization of the Finite-volumE Sea ice–Ocean Model, Version 2.0 (FESOM2)".
Our postdoc Valerio Lembo and our PI Valerio Lucarini contributed to a new paper published in the journal "Geoscientific Model Development" titled: "TheDiaTo (v1.0) – a new diagnostic tool for water, energy and entropy budgets in climate models".
Our PIs Gualtiero Badin, Christian Franzke, Marcel Oliver and Jens Rademacher contributed to and edited a new special issue published in the Journal on "Geophysical & Astrophysical Fluid Dynamics" titled: "Mathematical Developments in Geophysical Fluid Dynamics: Structure, Vortices, and Waves".
Our PI Jens Rademacher contributed to a new paper published in the "Journal of Nonlinear Science" titled: "Unfolding Symmetric Bogdanov–Takens Bifurcations for Front Dynamics in a Reaction–Diffusion System".
