TRR 181 Winter School "Energy transfers in Atmosphere and Ocean"
Our Winter School is held at the Alfred-Wegener-Institute in List on Sylt from February 6-10.
The winter school supports internal networking as well as interdisciplinary training of the PhDs and postdocs in the project.
Internal and external speakers give introductions on relevant topics of the three project disciplines: Oceanography, Meteorology and Mathematics. Furthermore, the school will provide a platform for the discussion of outreach and gender issues.
“Best scientific practice” is the topic of an evening lecture which will help the young researchers to understand their rights and duties as scientists as well as giving them tools on how to handle difficult situations.
