"Breaking the Binaries: Diverse and Excellent in Academia?" - A Film Trilogy Re-thinking Diversity, Gender, and Equity, October 10 at Rotunde/Cartesium (Campus Universität Bremen)

The Equal Opportunities Office at Uni Bremen is organising a series of film screenings and podium discussions titled Breaking the Binaries: Diverse & Excellent in Academia?, co-funded by the TRR 181. The next event will be on Tuesday, October 10, 12 to 3 p.m. at Rotunde/Cartesium (Campus University of Bremen). The film Picture a Scientist will be shown, followed by a captivating podium discussion with Dr. Cassandra Ellerbe.

Dr. Cassandra Ellerbe, an expert in ethnography, gender studies, and social justice, brings over 10 years of research experience from various cross-border EU funded projects. Her expertise in diverse fields has formed the foundation for her work in promoting diversity, combating discrimination, and advocating for social justice. Dr. Ellerbe lectures internationally and has published in multiple languages on these important topics.
