Our principal investigator Valerio Lucarini wins prize at conference

Our principal investigator Prof. Valerio Lucarini won a prize for best presentation at the Frontiers of Nonlinear Physics International Conference 2016.

The sixth International Conference “Frontiers of Nonlinear Physics” was held on a cruise between Nizhny Novgorod up the Volga River and further to St. Petersburg from July 17 through July 23, 2016.

"This conference is the continuation of an old series of prestigious events that were initiated during Soviet times. It always had a great relevance for the theoretical physics and applied maths community." says Prof. Lucarini whose honoured talk was about the use of nonequilibrium statistical mechanics for studying climate response to forcings.
