TRR181 member Valerio Lucarini awarded with 2018 LMS Prize
The 2018 LMS Prize winners were announced at the Society Meeting on Friday 29 June 2018. The TRR181 is very happy to extend its congratulations to Prof. Dr. Valerio Lucarini.
The London Mathematical Society awards several prizes for achievements in and contributions to mathematics:
"DR VALERIO LUCARINI of the University of Reading is awarded a WHITEHEAD PRIZE for his work applying the ideas and methods of statistical physics to the theory and modelling of climate dynamics, and for his leadership in the field of mathematics applied to climate science."
